JOB DESCRIPTION - ROUTESETTERS

Education and Certifications:

• Significant relevant education/experience in outdoor recreation and management
• Hold and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification throughout employment
• Any route setting certifications are a plus

Experience:

• 2+ years minimum of route setting experience
• Experience in staff management

Knowledge:

• Thorough understanding of Climb Nashville’s mission
• Extensive knowledge about route setting

Responsibilities:

• Managing/scheduling setters
• Planning route rotation
• Equipment ordering
• Wall management and inspections
• Competition planning and promotion
• Work with Program Manager and Groups Manager to accommodate events and programs
• Routesetters are expected to attend quarterly employee meetings

Compensation:

• Dependent on experience and performance
• Performance based bonuses
• Paid vacation and sick time
• Professional Advancement Opportunities
