I have been training on my hang board for a month now and have not seen any real inprovements. I have been doing 5 sets for five secounds each. I also try to do this three times a week. Is this too short of a time to hang off? I wanted to keep it low to redue injury.

that was a previous thread that should help you out a lot, i used coconutz's recommendation (3rd post from the top), and enjoyed huge improvement.
