i was listening to the radio today and couldn't help but cringe at the new bullshit music Unwritten Law is playing these days. i remember the days back in high school when they played good ole' socal punk. f*ck those guys, sell outs!
who has sold out that pisses you off?

haha...
I remember back in early high school like ten years ago, The Offspring came through my little ol' town to play a $5 all ages show at the local community center. It drew a pretty big crowd, and was the biggest event for us punks for the whole year.
anyway, they played a new song called "I'm not a trendy asshole," and introduced it by going off about how they would never sell out and get trendy.
we all know how they wound up.
(they also trashed my friend's house after he let them crash the night there.)

chilli peppers r one of my favorite bands, but u r right they have kinda gone pop. there last CD, which was good, was a whole different kind of music. i still like them but wish they played the same kind of music that made them cool.

Kid Rock & Creed... What the hell ever happened to songs like "higher" from Creed? They suck now... worst than before. Kid Rock is mainly in the limelight due to his gay songs rather than his heavy metal songs. Cheryl Crow is a hottie though. What a lucky sell out.

Wayne Gretzky. I don't like hockey, and I'm not that big of a fan, but nobody endorses random junk like Wayne... plus he has a way cool song written for him by Goldfinger, who didn't really sell out, but it seems like it after they got really popular.

As for whoever said Creed is a sell out, when were they ever not a sell-out?
Honestly, though, music in general these days is a big sell out. Maybe I'm just realizing it more now, but it seems like there are a shiteload more one-hit wonders and stupid formula-contrived money-driven music. Damn them all!
I can't wait till Britney Spears sells out and does Playboy, now that's a sell-out I wouldn't mind...

bad religIon may have had a questionable albums with no substance and new america, but with mr. brett back they are much better, i thought process of belief was good. they are getting old, cut the guys some slack, they still fucken kick ass. making a bad album doesn't constitute selling out, metallica sold out to be a pop band, BR still says fuck the mainstream.

How about sugar ray. They were pretty hard before I Just Want to Fly. They made alot of money for that song and then just went complete crappy pop music. I wish mark mcgrath would grow some balls
