I don't think it gets climbed much. It may be 5.0, but the descent is hairy.

Gunsight to South peak is super classic, is that what you meant?

Do you want to come out during the gathering March 8-15?

Actually I was talking about Gun Sight to North Peak. My first lead ever was Gun Sight to South Peak. Is G.S. to North Peak really dangerous..hard?. I would appreicate any and all beta you could provide. Thanks. Do you have any beta about Millineum. I had emailed you (i think it was you..Stu??). I've been to Nelson quite a bit last year just never got to do it. What gear do I need on it. Any good easy aid lines down at Nelson or Seneca? Thanks alot.

I have been out there before in the winter and you have to chase the sun most of the day. As of late we in Harrisonburg, an 1.5ish hrs from Seneca, have recieved a TON of snow. I would bet that Seneca has some as well. I know that Spruce knob, just down the road from Seneca, does, so I would bet it is a little snowy on some of the ledge systems at Seneca. It is starting to warm up, so it may get good again soon as the sun and wind work it.

Cheers,

Adam

Climb the east face, its great its in the sun the whole day. Stay away from the south/ cave area the wind rips through there.

We did the first pitch of Extacy buttruss, started the second and almost got blown off the mountain. We bailed from a pine tree and played around on The Burn and Sunshine. Had alot more fun at Nelson Rocks Preserve. Seneca is a cool place tho,,just get ready to swallow a little pride, those routes are sand baggers. Some hard core people put those up.
