I love when my dates compliments my hands, forearms, arms, back, etc... The best compliment ever was: "Your hands feel so strong... they are beutifull, rough and yet... quite gentle... SUCH A TURN ON!!!" What was yours?

Assuming they deserve it, the best compliment IMO you can tell another climber, "Thanks for all your hard work."

Since I seem to be able to avoid virtually all interaction with the opposite sex the only compliments I ever get are really more like backhanded compliments like" 1. "Your feet don't seem to stink as much as last week." 2. "It took some time but I think I have gotten used to your stench." 3. "When was the last time you combed your hair? No really, it looks good though." 4. "That couch is pretty nice. It is hard to believe sombody actually threw this thing away." 5. "You are stronger than you look."

I like it when people comment on my muscles in my back. I only wish I could see it when I climb. But rumor is, my back is pretty impressive! I guess I'll never know!

I'll agree with garbanzo. My wife loves my shoulders. Plus, they have an added bonus. I weight lift so they are quite larger than most, especially we climbers (I'm the big dude that can't do the 5.11's that you little ripped guys can, so kudos!). The wife just loves grabbing on to them and rubbing them. And, we'll leave it at that as I'm sure you can imagine where I'm going with this. 8)

{sniff} I get so ...... so sentimental every time I think about this {sniffle - blows nose} You can click here to read the kindest, sweetest compliment anyone ever said about me. [HINT] Look for the red letters. It's a whole story, so you can click the link at the top to return to the beginning of the photo essay. I'm all choked up....

I personally think that the nicest thing another climber could ever say to me would be "you're the safest person I've ever climbed with". Tai

The best compliment I think is when you get an audience. No words are spoken, they just watch in awe. That is the best compliment in the world. Oh, and wonderwoman, your back is more than impressive. It's a work of art, along with the rest of you. Josh

"Can you belay me?... I dont trust the other guy..." and as far as a compliment on my climbing... "How do you hold on to that?" or... "Nice whipper..."

im with camhead-- the best compliments iver ever gotten about my climbing were "you made that look easy" or "damn, you floated that".. those really make me feel good about my climbing, especially when i know its a tough problem, or one ive been working on... about me in relation to climbing has always been the off-hand compliments regarding opening stuck jars, bending something metal, or whatever, referring to my hand and forearm strength. but my GF is into my back and stomach...alot...

went to the local crag by myself, freesoled a 5.8. afterward i was lying on the ground at the top, in disbelief that i almost died. a friend had seen my jeep nearby, parked, hiked to the top and asked, " what are you doing here?" i pointed to the chalkmarks on the cliff edge. "where's your rope". -didn't use one. the best compliment - "you're f*cking crazy".

Well, I think the best one was when my partner said: "Dude, you're a TRAD god!" Even though it wasn't that tough of a route. And of course the classic: "WOW, you made that look easy!" duskerhu
