Dear Pete.

I understand most of you solo rack system just few questions.

1. I can't find anything about how to tie the slipery overhand knot, do you have a discription or even a picture.

2. Is the solo tag extention so that as I aproach the end of my lead line I can still leave the tag rack 10 meters below me. If that is the case why is it not tied to the end of the extention. OR is the extention for some thing else.

The Hoser/Merrican language barrier strikes once again. "Slippery Overhand Knot" is Canadian for "Overhand Slip Knot".

Here's an awesome picture

You tie the overly slip hand knot at the Kong adjustable fifi, so the slippery 6mm can't slip. OK? You pull the free end to release it when you want to adjust it.

1. Link as above. Put more loops in the chain of slipknots.

2. Yes. Without the Solo Tag Extension, you would be S.O.L. on a long pitch and have to tag shorter and shorter amounts towards the end.

It also lets you link pitches. 250' or 300' pitches are possible when soloing, but you might need a longer haul line, too!

[Even in Canada, there are two p's in "slippery"]
