yeah, it is a great video. downloads really slowly though, Those are some tiny, and very painful looking fingernail crimps, but DG sticks em pretty well. In the one shot where he is faling he is holding on one handed for a second or two... OUCH.

Great dose. That's the longest I've ever waited for a Dose download, must have been at least 15 minutes. Once you go broadband, you never go back.

Yeah, I was wondering about the gripping stuff too. I mean, isn't it more fun to climb stuff with grips on it? And what about the big thingy that the skinny little kid said he spent eight days on? Come on, eight days? Thats sooo long. I'd rather go toprope and do some real climbing. Not something real close to the ground and all easy like that. I hope the skinny guy gets better at climbing. He tries hard but isn't very good.

He was doing Total Eclips, 8a+

What is total eclips 8a? Is that guy pretty good? Don't get me wrong, he seems like a nice kid but if it took him eight days to climb something only 5 feet off the ground he can't be that good. It looks fun but I will stick with real climbing like with ropes and stuff.

Hahaha Chris....I think I'll give you a STFU for the fun of it. STFU! http://www.tc.umn.edu/~wray0016/emots/lol.gif And yeah those are some crazy crimps. It took my broadband connection through school about 4 hours to download that clip. Sheesh. Where'd all the bandwidth go?

Really sweet. I can't imagine trying to do some of the microcrimps. Dave is one freaking strong SOB. Wish I could climb avywhere close to where he does.

In reply to: did anyone else notice that dave grahm was wearing two different shoes on the one titled "problem" any comments? I remember him doing that on another problem in Bishop. I believe he has V10s on one foot and Anasazi Velcros on the other. I'm assuming one shoe is better for heel hooking than the other.

yeah the anasazi is for edging and the v10 for heel hooking and pulling with your feet - he did the same thing in "small amazing things". makes sense if u have ever tried to stand on micro edges with dragons or v10's... it hurts, especially on vertical stuff. ditto on how amazing it was when he was on that 8a slab and his right hand came off and he hung there by his left hand for like a second - that crimp was probably only like 1/4 inch wide or less! and the way he just chilled on that slopey topout for so long... some day...
