Aid ladders (Yates in particular) until the Russian adiers are available.
Metolius Easy Daisies.
Still haven't found a boot I'm happy with, but if the climb is mostly aid and I'll be standing in the aiders all day, gotta have a pair that has a stiff footbed/midsole. Downside -- they suck for making free moves.

I like the metoulious aiders and Yates adjustable daisyes. The yates you can extend when weighted but after alot of use they start slipping. The metoulius don't ever slip, but you can't extend them when they are weighted.

Classic Daisys - or - adjustable daisy's, Metolious adjustables or Yates adjustables for some jobs.
Low cut shoes- or - stiff boots, Depends on what job I`m up for. Climbing shoes if I know that I`m to do lotsa free moves for efficiency or stiff foot supporting boots if I`m not doing any free moves.

I'm a beginnner, so I might change things after I start draggin myself up walls, but I've been able to be pretty efficent by using
Trad. pocketed daisies (they are stonger than adj. ones)
A set of misty aiders I bought, and homemade tied ones for the other pair
A pair of old comfy rockshoes so I can free climb if necessary.
I have yet to do any long aid routes, so I imagine that if I start spending a lot of time in aiders I'll chuck the rock shoes and use something else. I love my tied aiders, they are great and no foot irritation yet from the knots :D Hope this helps you out
