Whaddup? I see Ax-R. Why is the 'runout' parameter being used on aid pitch ratings? Hooks? A long series of hook moves? That's normally plain ol' Ax, depending on how good/bad the hooks are. How long before we see the redundant 'A5-X'? Whaddup?

Go back through the forum and find the threads about aid ratings; the use of R and X are explained and no, R does not stand for run-out as it does in free climbing.
