Was hoping to get in some aid practice this spring/summer and I think Tahquitz has the best exposure and length nearby for me to get some hauling practice in. Is there a recommended route or two that would be worth aiding? I am even willing to aid a 5.11 or 12 crack as long as I will not be blocking anybody. So an unpopular free climb would also work. I would like something with good haul problems, i.e. a roof or two so I will really have to work. Also, if I take all day to get to the top of the rock, what are the rules about bivying on or behind Tahquitz? Will my car get ticketed in the Huber parking lot? If I hauled up a pony keg would anyone join us on top? ;) Anyway, just lookin to put all of PTPP's lists and advice to work. Miker

I understand that the Pirate at Suicide is a good aid practice climb. don't know about the hauling aspects. you won't get ticketed at Humber Park, but will need an adventure pass. if you go to Suicide, you don't need an adventure pass.
