does any one know how I can order a copy of the guide book for red river gorge? I have seen two different books on some websites but none of them tell me how to get it. No luck with amazon. Some have said to try miguels when I get there but I was hoping to have a plan before we got there. Thanks-

Here is the publishing info for the guide that I have. " Red River Gorge Climbs" 2nd ed. John H Bronsaugh Geezer Press, Lexington KY, 1998 (606)223-0480 RRGClimber@aol.com I hope this helps. If not, the last time I was at the NRG, Waterstone had a few guides... perhaps you could order one fro them. Cheers Adam

Last time I was down there.. Miguels was really stocked. And, to my surprise, they had them at the gas station just off of the highway. If you're unable to find them prior to your tip, I would feel pretty confident that you would be able to find a copy once you got down there. Also, most people down there are really friendly. I'm sure someone would be willing to put you in the right direction w/ what you want to climb. Sure, not the best way to go about things, but it'll get you on the rock.

If you want to really get a headstart on your planning you can look at the online guidebook available at www.redriverclimbing.com.

I wouldn't worry to much about a book till ya get there. most of the route choices that you will end up doing is out of the fact that there sick looking rather than what there name is. Have fun dude I envy you... If ya get a chance try too many puppies!!! it is rad as hell.
