Hey Trevor
I have been trying to create new folders in teh eamil program...but for some reason can't...also is there a way to same specific email address so we don't have to type them in everytime...or am I jsut a 'puter flunkie:) let me know...

currently the e-mail program doesn't allow setting up new folders. I am not sure why, but I have tried and it just doesn't work now. As for an address book...I finally started using outlook express to check my e-mail. You can set it up to send an receive your rockclimbing.com e-mail.

How did you set up OE to open your Rockclimbing.com email and be able to send messages...you can jsut email me or Private Message meif you want

I've been keeping the POP account access a secret, but here it is. Anyone has permission to use their rockclimbing.com account from their Outlook Express or any other email program. I am going to ask for yearly donations/fees however you want to look at it to use it (I really have to stop paying server fees from my own pocket). Until I have some payment system setup, use it for free.
Incoming mail (POP): pop.rockclimbing.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.rockclimbing.com
Account name: [your name like russman]
Password: [the same password you use to access rockclimbing.com]
Email Address: russman@rockclimbing.com (or your email address if you're not russman)
Your name: [well...your name]

thanx man...actually jared helped me this afternoon...works like a charm...not a problem as far as a paymetn goes...we can always work that out when you figure things out more...happy to help...

If you use POP email, then I ask you to make a donation to the site. I am not setting a minimum amount and I won't force you to but giving you an email account DOES actually cost me money.

Send all donations through PayPal. It's actually a very cool system for transfering money. I use it for personal use all the time, it's becoming very popular on the Internet, and they pay you $5 just for signing up.
There is a "Make a Donation" link on the left hand side above the counter. Also there is one on the Donation.php page above.

POP email just means that you download the mail from the server to your local computer. Currently you must check your email throught the website. But if you want you can use your local email program (Outlook, O. Express, Pegasus, Eudora, whatever). However, because you are getting a benefit for free, we ask you to pay us some money to help us pay for the server each month. I can't pay for this out of my own pocket anymore. If you don't donate money, we will not send you mean emails or threaten to kill you dog or anything like that. But we might try to make you feel guilty for taking something for free and not paying for it.
Simply put...if you like what you see then support the cause and you will see more of it. If you don't then we just may shut our doors
