Hi....i know i am not a female but i do have a question for you females I was thinking about getting my girlfriend some climbing shoes and would like to know which would be better for her. She has a really small narrow foot. I looked at the fiveten diamonds and they seemed allright but a little high priced. but then i found it on barrabes and the price was allright but they were sold out. So if you have anyother suggestions on shoes it would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks!

You may want to check out the gearheads forum, there are shoe threads all over...including one for girls with really small feet...somewhere. I'll post the link in a moment. just a quick bit of shoe advice though...if her feet are like a 4.5 men's or below...you are going to have a tough time getting shoes for her without specially ordering them. I have to special order everything sight unseen. oh, and you might want to look at madrocks, they are cheaper than most shoes...Don't know how well they wear, but they are cheap. And the reviews are good. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...iewtopic.php?t=23445 - Mad Rock Reviews http://www.rockclimbing.com/...iewtopic.php?t=21400 - tiny feet shoe thread

Good shoes for females with narrow feet are either the 5.10 diamond or the la sportiva mythos. Unless I have tried on the shoe before, I am very apprehensive about ordering shoes online. You really never can tell how they will fit. You should take your girlfriend to a good climbing shop, and have her try on everything. Everyone's feet are different, and also even the same type of shoe will fit differently. Quality control is never the best with these climbing shoe manufacturers. You are a very nice boyfriend for getting shoes for your girl! Bonus points.

Hey! I have pretty thin feet and have climbed in Mythos for almost 3 years. Just bought a second pair! They're great. Like everyone has said though, have her try them on, if for no other reason than for sizing. You sweetheart!

La Sportiva Mythos are great and now they've come out with a Mythos specifically for women. They're this kind of lime green color instead of the purple. They're fairly new but I can't wait to try a pair.

I have narrow feet and even narrower heels, and thus far the only shoe I have found that fits is the 5.10 Sapphire. I have to size down 2 sizes to accommodate for stretch-age (I have to lace them so tight the eyelets almost touch). YMMV, k.

I also really like the 5.10 Sapphires, I tried on every pair of climbing shoes in the store and the Sapphires were the only ones that didn't cut into the back of my heel.
