I am still really a BWT put I have summited in the valley, and I do home my skill on a local piece of rock.
But you know things are bad when you get a hook move a micro wire and then a section of free climbing. Okay I hate over doing the discription, I did have a bomber cam and wire, BUUUUUT, the next placement is a blind cam, a good cam but a blind one.
I felt in the crack and placed the cam then crank up the free moves to see my handy work and low and behold there is a red snake lying in the crack, bloody hell how did he get in there, 20 meters of the deck. A strange feeling filled my heart, I treated him with indifference and he did the same for me.
A surprise encounter for a solo sunday.
I love nature you just don't know what is going to happen next. Peace to the snake, the little devil.
