I usually climb with an adjustable fifi and a 6mm cord, but the fifi doesnīt work well. it isnīt enough slippery and makes you waste a lot of energy using it. I was looking some post of Dr. piton, and he says that you must find the slipperiest cord you could. How can I know that the cord I buy will be enough slippery? Can I do something to make my cords more slippery? Thank you Guys, P.w: Why this name: fifi?

It's the flexibility that makes it "slippery" in the adj. fifi. Most 6mm cord is too stiff. Find "limp noodle" 6mm.

Check out different manufacturers' cords. Look for a fine weave on the outside. It can become more slippery with use.

I think I use 5 mill. Not sure. I just had it and put it on. No problems as of yet.
