Just in case you havent found your way over to the routes section yet, here is North carolina. It has over 60 areas with routes. Welcome to rc.com.

I go to school in NC so I spend most of my time there. Try Stone Mountain or Moore's Wall. The Great Arch is an amazing climb. It is easy but worth doing. Moore's has some bouldering an a lot of routes below 5.9.

well for trad go to moore's wall, for sport go to pilot mountain, for bouldering go anywhere because it is all good. pilot mtn. and moore's wall are right beside each other so that would be a good trip, in fact some buds of mine and I are going to go bouldering at moores for two days and head over to pilot for 3, and try to knock off some hard sport climbs as soon as we get out of school over here at ECU. all of my friends, whom are a lot older than me, go to moore's all the time because of its kick ass trad. Linville Gorge is also another great trad/sport area further west near Boone.

Will,

Buy the new guidebook. It's worth every penny.

Mr. Poo,

Go to The New. Over 1500 routes. At least 1/3 are sport. Plus bouldering. Great rock. Great setting. Great scene.

Pilot is a halfway decent choss pile, in an ok setting.

Hey pornstar,

Are there any climbing walls or mountain bike trails in Wilmington. I'm going to Topsail Beach in June, for a week.

I'm also from NC and just finished up college out west. I'm looking for climbing partners asap for the next week and a half until I leave for Europe on the 18th. Have pretty much all my own stuff, but need partners at the moment. Would like to chat and maybe climb, drop me a line.
