I love them, they set well in some places others don't due to the curve. Other than that they aren't really that much different. They don't have really large or really small sizes if you want those. I recommend them...

In reply to: looking for feedback on these before I make the plunge. Make the plunge. They get an A+ from me...what ever that's worth. As stated above, they fit in some placements better than BD stoppers sometimes. A set is worth the $60-$70 they go for.

I have a set of the curved nuts and the curved hexes. They are both great. I definitely recommend. phyre

If you want to get a second set of nuts to compliment your existing rack I would recommend HB offsets. Most people who think of HB, think only of the small offsets and their usefulness on an aid rack. They are indeed great for aid but the entire set is fantasic. Much nicer than curved nuts IMHO.

I mostly use my curved nuts but also have the middle sizes of BD stoppers. It give you more options to have two different brands. To answer your question, yes buy the curved nuts.

Personally, I don't like the curved nuts. Unless you get an irregularity in the rock that sets in the curve, you loose alot of surface area on the curved side. I'd much rather place a Stopper or a Rock. I know everyone loves the curved nuts, but I just thought I would offer my opinion so you can take in all angles when making your decision. my $0.02

the point of the curve is to get three points of contact, which is more stable than more surface area. i love the nuts, i just took my first fall on one, the #3, which i thought wasnt going to hold, but it was solid. get em man, they are awesome. Jon
