It's currently offline. If Tim still looks at rc.com then he can comment. In short, the domain registration lapsed, someone else purchased the name climbpa.com and hasn't done anything with it. Tim has looked into an alternative host and domain name and several Pittsburgh area climbers offered to help with the costs. It's still in limbo at the moment but hopefully it will be back up sometime soon.

PA specific threads are located on the PA state page.
You can link to threads to there, but a) "Posting a new message related to PA on the state page or linking a thread via the advanced linking by selecting area and putting 44 in the ID box.

Ah, ok.

Thats what I figured happened; either that or he moved his site and I wondered where it went...

Thanks

Check out Birdsboro...40 minutes from VF. Great sport climbs with some really tough stuff on the "bigwall". Birdsboro is a working quarry, we climb on the closed side. Usually lots of friendly climbers on the weekends. You will have someone to climb with if you just show up solo. PM me if you need some beta.

taurus--

Check out the triassic diabase bouldering of eastern PA. Governor Dick's, Governor Stable, Haycock, wherever. The rock has a grippy, fine grained texture that requires a really fun climbing style, and there are definately problems at each of them that would be classic anywhere.
