I bought a set of metolius roof jugs and I wanted to put them up outside and I'm not sure how long they'll last or anything. Does the temperature effect how long they'll last? Does rain and other elements effect it? How long do most holds last outside? Any help would be great

they will be fine. ive had all kinds of holds (including metolius) outside on my wall for two years now, only thing is they fade a bit, so the colors wont be as bright after a year or so, the bolts and t nuts will rust a tad though, but that wont keep you from climbing, they still work. they work just fine. andrew

I also have a few brands up outdoors as well. If it snows alot you might want to turn them so they wont fill up, an ice dam could form and possibly break them, but other than that they'll be fine. I say go for it! Metolius does make some sweet roof jugs try the mini's. Jeff
