zealot love cushion. I have to hike sometimes a ways to get to the boulder and the harness is superior. I have also not found any better foam.

Flashed - Master

Because I got it for dirt cheap... it was the last one the store had and there was no price on it, but also because the shoulder straps are comfortable.

You should check out asanapackworks.com. The pads are sweet, huge, and made in the US. :D

i agree about asana ... but in general you want reasonable size 2" open cell 1" closed cell a resonable weight and size.... and withought a doubt metal or at a minimum replaceable buckles

one more thing
as great as that giant $250 pad might be you still gatta lug that heavy thing around so unless your used to carying stuff like that on approaches you should really give it some consideration before you throw your money down and then spend alot of time complaining about what a mistake you made on the trail

Definately the Misty Mountain Highlander.

Order it from Joe at newenglandbouldering.com. Great guy, great prices, free (or very cheap) shipping, and next day service.

I like the one that belongs to my dear friend Mitch. It is a Globe Ground Control, and it is fun to fall upon, and available at a good price.
