I havent set up my slackline yet but I'm going to soon. My plan was to set it up between two trees and just get it as tight as I could. Since I'm new to this I was womdering if I need any technical data before I try. All info will help.

not really too much technical stuff..... Just get it tight using maybe a pulley system to get a mechanical advantage, then tie it off and try not to get hurt in the first couple hours.

Good Luck!

For a simple and effective tensioning system that does not require a bunch of gear, go to http://www.ethosclimbing.com and then to "how to" and click on the first two or three sets of instructions. Good Luck!
