Well bro,
The answer to your questions is this...It depends! Nobody can truly answer your questions, except for maybe you....
It's been done in a little as...3hrs? solo(I'd have to look it up!) and there's no telling what the longest is....Have fun and good luck!!

Hi Michael,
I solo'd West Face Leaning Tower last year.
Day 1: Left Camp 4 at 9:00am.
Had to make two trips up to the base of the climb to get all my gear up to the start of the exposed 4th class section. It takes a little more time to shuttle gear across the exposed 4th class section of the catwalk. I think it took me 4 hours to get all my gear to the dead tree at the start of the climb. I fixed the first pitch and cleaned it. I bivied on the small ledge by the dead tree.
Day 2: Combined P2 & P3 as 1 pitch. Did P4. Fixed P5 & P6 as 1 pitch and rapped down haul line to Guano Ledge. Moved over to Ahwhanee Ledge to bivy.
Day 3: Cleaned P5 & P6. Did P7. Combined P8 & P9 as 1 pitch. I had daylight to do P10 but didn't. Bivied at top of P9 (bad decision).
Day 4: Did P10. Walked up P11. Rapped down the backside/gully system. Hiked down to the parking lot.
What would I do different. Clean P5 & P6 on Day 2. Bivy at top of P10 on Day 3, great ledge!

OK, so now you've asked?

When are you going?

We have a tradition round here of making The Big Announcement. It makes it harder to chicken out when you have announced to the entire world your intention to solo a big wall.
