Mad Rock Shoe Sizing

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the sizes run for mad rocks.
I wear my rock shoes (5.10's) a half size under my street shoes. Are the Mad rocks going to be the same?

I don't have a place to go try some on so I have to just order and hope.

Thanks,
Steve

I wear a 10-1/2 street shoe, 10 5-10 Spire, and the Mad Rock 11 was still a little snug on me. I didn't see that they even offered and 11.5 so I may be out of luck.

Don't know if its true or not, but I've read that the MadRock Shoes are pretty close in size to the 5.10 Anasazi last. I do know that I wear size 12 street shoes and the size 12 Anasazi velcro's fit perfect, if a bit tight.

i'd get them in the same size as your street shoe. Any more and they would be uncamfortable tight. UNless you like that. I wear a 10.5 skate shoe and have five ten spires size 10 and my madrock hooker zips are tighter than those in a 10.5 spires.

I wear a size 9.5 street shoe and bought a size 9.0 5.10 Anasazi Velcro and they are almost uncomfortable (good for single pitch...wouldn't want to wear them for multipitch). I bought 9.0 Mad Rock Hooker Lace and it's a great fit.

There has been TONS of posts on Madrock as of late. I would kindly suggest doing a search first. They do run very tight, so street size + or - a half size if your best bet. My hookers are a half up of my street shoe.

I got a question for the guys who wear a size 10 1/2 street shoe and a size 10 Spire, as I have those same sizes. I just bought my first pair of rock shoes ever today at REI in Roseville. They fit plenty snug and my foot doesn't move around at all. However, there is about 1/4 inch of space between the shoe and my heel, just below the Achilles area. So it's just above the sole of my foot. Will this cause problems when I'm hooking? Just wondering, cuz I'm new to the sport.

Thanks,
Colin

Mugens half size larger than street and still VERY tight, but tolerable for 30+ minutes after a month of wear.
