There wouldn't be a climber in Australia worth his rock-salt who doesn't know of Henry. He gave our country such a shake-up during his visit in the 70s with his fast aid-eliminations of the country's hardest testpieces. He really took things to a new level. He is a keystone of the climbing culture here.

I was back in Tasmania last Christmas, and climbed with a guy who has been very active in the FA scene there since the 70's. He had heaps of great stories about climbing with Henry when he swept through.

An impressive climber, and an impressive traveller, he swept up many climbs that had been all but ignored until his arrival

Tassie is a crack masters paradise.
