There are still several items that are broken (not tied in to the new BB) since we switched from PHBB to PHBB2. This thread is to detail those items in the hopes of making a "to do list" for coders to whittle away at when they have time. It is not for suggestions for new features, but to fix the features we already had prior to the switch. There are several threads in this Forum which detail many, so my hopes are to consolidate them into one thread for easy reference.

-Threads posted from Areas in the Routes DBase are not linked to the Area. I think threads posted from any Feature are not linked to them. -My friends does not work (maybe we can make Friends red on the Forum index). -New users do not show on "what's new" on RDB Pages, for that State/Province/Country.

Autologin doesn't work on any of my machines, where you check save username and password and don't have to log in every time. Though I guess this could be a browser setting. Chuck

Updating of my profile seems to be malfunctioning... I noticed at the top of the page that the RC.com staff state they are having issues with profiles. Specifically, I can not change my location or hostel info. Quite a workload to keep such an extensive website running... been there, done that. I am simply thankful for the work y'all do accomplish, and do not wish to sound whiny.

Times on the front page are in Pacific Time, while times in the forums are GMT (not really that much of a "problem," but thought it was worth pointing out). "Who's online" doesn't work. No age option in profiles. Location given in profile does not match location given below username next to a post by that user (or is this intentional for some reason?) Thanks!

Good ones above. Another... -Auto PM sent when Moderating a thread. Used to have a menu to choose from that stated why thread was moved. This created a way to track who did what, and notified the author of where and why their thread was moved.

Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but I can't update my profile. I've tried to add info (i.e. a description, postal code, etc.), submit it and I even received a message stating that the update was successful. However, when I look at my profile, the change was not recorded.

Same here on the profile Updating. I'm not so worried about the hostel info bug, but it'd be kinda nice to get Zip Code and stuff in there. Not whining though, keep up the good work y'all! :D

The inability to edit things in your profile have been touched on several times in this thread. It is noted.

It seems that many things previously tied to the DB are not after the switch: -Users (newer users not tied to the DB for Hostel or Location search) -Articles, Pro Athletes, Areas, Events, etc... Trevor had it set up for easy searches to facilitate getting info easily. This was a highlight of the site, so should be fixed.

I have another one. Cannot add new sites to our "LINKS" pages. gives this error message: SITE SUBMISSION ERROR Warning: dir(/usr/www/apache/vhost/climb/photos/flags) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /usr/local/vhost/climb/htdocs/links/include/add.php on line 269 This is kinda a big one:) Especially if we are trying to get our gear reviews section more filled out, we need to add more companies to our listings.

Use the bug tracker to record these; it collects additional information which in some cases (autologin especially) can be very useful in identifying the root cause of the problem. I am going to add grouping and resolution announcement to it in the future, but even in its current state it is an enormous improvement over the forums-and-PMs-and-rumors method. http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/bugtracker/ It does not require you to be logged in, although it does support it.

The link on the Index page "View posts since last visit" seems to be broken (but just since yesterday). It tells me that nothing has been posted since my last visit (my "search" didn't return anything), which I know isn't the case.

Ditto. I also get an "Invalid_Session" message whenever I try to post a new topic on one of my computers. The other computer never does that. Hmmm.

Getting the same thing... Hit refresh to continue what you were doing till it's fixed. Someone needs to make a Bug about this... I guess I will.

I found something that's either missing, or I'm being really stupid... When looking at a member profile, there is no button to add them to my friends list anymore... Hmmm... (As of Fri. Oct 24th- Still that way)

Some of these recent one's are already covered by other threads in this Forum. Also, we now have the "Help Desk" so if you see a bug, go to the help desk link provided at the top of any page, and report it. Then make a post about it in this forum, so many users do not report the same thing... It makes no sense to flood the coders with many reports about the sdame thing, as they will have to sort through all of the reports before they can actually fix anything. Locking and removing the "sticky" from this thread, like I should have done a while ago.
