Well My parents would not let me start climbing until I practiced a lot and also I showed a lot of responsibility

If your in scouts of ventures, simply organize a trip for them, this way you'll pull the "Come on, i'm the only person not going, and I organized the trip!"

Well I am an Eagle scout in boy scouts but we have trips planned and they never happened

i would just wait a few years till your parents trust you more...your only 13 you will be 16 in no time. im 15 and my parents might not let me go yet. and another thing. maybe you you could try paying for it yourself. ice climbing is really really expensive i would wait a few years and get a job
