I want to know if anyone has the layout for clarks. I'm not one of those anal climbers who needs to know what the climbs have been rated, but instead I think it would be helpful to have at least some info. I climb there so blindly. Also, who climbs at Buck rock? I want to know the animals that climb that route next to temporary insanity. the guide book says 5.11+, I say it's like 5.12d, no jokes. Please reply if you have any info on that climb.

There is supposedly a online topo at californiabouldering.com, but I couldn't get the link to work. All you need is good directions to navigate the dirt roads. Once your there, just look at the routes, there short enough you can look up and ballpark it, generally its a 9, 10, or 11. they're short fun routes. Make sure to shut both the cattle gates when you drive in and out. have fun there! Cheers The Dude

TO: jt512 I didn't say that I even atempted them. What I meant to say, is that I've seen many routes which were 5.12's and this looks very simular in difficulty, if not harder. I was very surprised to see bolts on it, lets put it that way. so I was putting up a number, hopping for some one to remark with positive advise not negative. by the way, I'm going to get my 5.11 redpoint soon.

Mick, last I checked the guidebooks that list Clark Canyon are few and far between . . . unless there's another book (or one you've done) that I'm not aware of.

Unless a guidebook came out in the last month, there are no guide books for sale at Wilson's that list Clark Canyon, but you can copy pages for Clark's out of the OOP Bishop Area Climbs guidebook for 10 cents a page in the store. Or, send me 2 bucks and I'll send you a copy of my copies ;)
