In reply to: And the North Shore and Devil's Lake (WI) have lead climbing? How difficult is the climbing? Can I find numbers of 5.10 and 5.11 climbs? Is there potential for development, or is have these areas been scoured out for routes? Thanks for any thoughts, it's much appreciated! Check out the events forum for Devils Lake in September. Great big outing planned. I'm planning on going. Should be fantastic. DL has 5.10 and some 5.11's. I'm not the expert, if you go to Midwest Forum or the Events, you'll pick up some names of experienced climbers at DL, and they are all great people who will share information. Debbie

Hey Duskerhu, Thanks for the response... bluffs at 3 sounds pretty good (there's a tiny chance I'll be going to our cabin, but that's pretty tiny...) I'm not positive I'll have access to a car, but I do live in Woodbury--somewhat on the way to Red Wing... I'll know tomorrow but any of you guys driving that-a-way just in case? I'll PM you my phone number, and look forward to climbing with you guys tomorrow!

Hello heated climbers this Mon. Is the lovely city of Woodbury in any way remotely along your paths toward Red Wing? This carless climber hopes to join you...

small world. One of my climbing partners, Jitterjepp, will be racing this weekend as well. I will be out there rooting him on. You riding solo or with a team oldschool? Best of luck to you.

Anyway....hope you got out again while you were here. I couldn't make it Monday....I was a bit hung-over. Look me up the next time you get back to MN. C-ya 'round.

Hey (and goodbye!!) to the MN climbers I met... Jeremy, Les, and Dann (Ann, too, although she's too cool for any of us!)-- great to meet you guys-- an honor and a pleasure climbing with you. Thanks for the note Jeremy, yeah, I went to BB Mon. & had a blast. If you guys are ever anywhere near California, be sure to look me up! Take care, Aaron --- And Brian- bummer about the rain WEd, I assumed you were like me and didn't climb after it rains... really bad for the integrity of the rock and the bolts (esp. BB)

Hey Les, Lee Dingemans would like to join you guys. I left his number on Dann's phone mail. Who is all going with you? What is your schedule(day/climbing area). I am going up with about four or five climbers and I would like to coordinate things so we can see you all up there. See ya soon, Kurt

Kurt, I havent even really cleared this with Dann but I assume we'll be at the camp ground by 11 - 12:00 Fri, Sung said he will also arrive about that time and I think we will head to Carlton peak ( I think it would be best if we didnt even set up camp till we get back) Then Sat will be Palisade or Shovel point and same for Sun. Anyone is welcome (Yeah even you) so I hope we'll see ya there. Les
