I wanna get out for the 3 day weekend coming up, but all I see is rain. :(
I'm currently in NW South Carolina near lots of climbing, but I just see rain in ther forcast for the next week. I've climbed in Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee since I've been here, so I'm willing to drive a bit.

Ive learned that that the forecast for Wva is never correct. Many times ive gone down when there was rain in the forecast and had an excellent weekend with light crowds(scared off by forecast). But ive also had just the opposite when it was a nice forecast. You meant LD not MD right? Isnt it labor day? Thought you were talking about MarylanD at first.

Forecast for Boone this weekend...chance of afternoon T-storms, highs in the lo 80s...it's risky but I'm going sunday unless it dumps there on sat., grandmother mtn. probably...

Yeah, if you do mean Memorial Day weekend, I would highly recommend the Farmer's Almanac :D :D
Welcome to the southeast, where the weather forecast for July/Aug/Sept always contains "30% scattered T-storms." :roll:

OH NOSSS dont leave me hanging. Come to Wva, ill bet all the dc area wussys cancel there plans because of the forecast. More routes for me, the way I look at it.
