My girlfriend and I will be camping at Castle Crags Aug. 22-24 and would love to be able do some climbing, but we don't have trad experience. Since it's not likely that I'll be accumulating multi-pitch trad leading experience in the next two months, we're hoping to find someone who wouldn't mind hanging out with a couple of well-mannered, safety-conscious belay slaves for the day.
We would be willing to pay (in some fashion - cash/beer/food) anyone who would be so kind ... but we can't afford a professional guide. (Who can, by the way?)
We'd love to follow somebody up as many moderates as they would like to lead, and might even be interested in a .10 or two.
All advice/ideas welcome.
