I was just wondering what the pros and cons would be to having cord on hooks instead of webbing... maybe there would be less torque on the hook if there was cord as opposed to webbing?, I don't know I've never tried it but has anyone else? Please write your opinion about the pros and cons of it... I don't know that it would be any better to have cord on hook the but could it be any worse?

Of course, this situation is avoidable, but....I think that cord unties a bit easier. I donated a couple of hooks to the talus this way.
For those of you who do use chord, what kind of knot do you use?

I prefer webbing for one simple reason - it lies flat against the rock, and won't cause the hook to "roll".
