Apart from climbing, of course, what are your other favourite sports? Im just curious... My other passion is longboard skateboarding and old school / freestyle skating

Whitewater kayaking. I'm still learning, but I loved every second of it (most of those seconds were spent upside-down in a raging creek....fun fun!) K.

Mountain Biking :D Similar to climbing - mega-workout and always a nice adrenaline rush.

I like kayaking as well, but don't have more than a Stearns inflatable right now. I would say caving is my next sport. I still enjoy it, especially some of the people. Going to miss the Austin crew when I leave.

Well, it's have to be either auto racing or bull fighting, wouldn't it? Can't say I've tried either. I think I'd prefer racing.

running, snowbaording, horseback riding, snowshoeing, volleyball occasionally, basketball occasionally.... I think that's it. Snowboarding and horses are the main ones

In reply to: Well, it's have to be either auto racing or bull fighting, wouldn't it? Can't say I've tried either. I think I'd prefer racing. I raced karts for a couple years, and did SCCA solo2 autocrossing before that...it's fun as hell, but even the karting, if you wanna run anything close to up front, is way expensive, compared to climbing. You ca run mid-pack and still have a raging blast though ;-) required greater concentration than climbing, whenyou're inthe midst of the race, there's really no rest time at all, unlike climbing wher you can always hang-dog if you're too pumped physically and mentally. Next fave phys activity for me is snowboarding. it's sweet. Speed, movement, relatively cheap, if you've already got your gear, and go during the weekdays so the lift tickets are less expensive.

Mountainbiking (technical, rather than fast; North Shore-style), volleyball, hiking, camping, reading, writing, cooking, snowshoeing... I enjoy kayaking/canoeing, but I've done very little of either... I'd love to try snowboarding, but I've already got two very expensive hobbies as it stands (biking, and climbing)... T

I really get my jollies by riding my bike to school every day. time trials down Skillman St., hit Lover's Lane, dart across Central Exressway, all the while dodging homeless guys, drug dealers– and as I get closer to school, the worst of all– speeding SUVs driven by neurotic Texan Xanex moms on cell phones. it's a lot like free soloing. you can't mess up. what can I say? I'm an adreneline junkie.
