Hey y'all, I'm heading down to New River Gorge, WV this friday but I'm going by myself so I guess all i can do is boulder since I dont have the balls for free soloing. What spots are good for bouldering? I'm going to camp at Roger's campground at Kaymoor so anywhere within a short driving distance. thanks, Adam

You could probibly just find a partner at Roger's. Otherwise, I hear there's some good bouldering at Hawk's Nest

Check out www.norope.com they have some cool videos of Hawk's Nest and Interp. Shoot me an email, I may be able to meet up for some routes. Check this out too: www.drtopo.com/westvirginia/hawks.html

Hawk's Nest has good bouldering. Near Ace Whitewater is an entrace boulder that is good to play around on. Also, walking along the major sport/trad places you can find good boulders. I also think that Beauty Mtn. had some good boulders as well. there are several other areas that I'd have to actually drive there to remember the directions enough to tell you. Just look around, You'll find something.
