Hey all, You have been a great help on many of my q's so here's one. Has anyone seen or more importantly know where to get a top for Nalgene bottles that you can drink from while on the go? I love em, but not always in the best position to stop, unscrew lid, drink from wide mouth, spill across beard/face, and move on. I thank you in advance. Its all good, bill

Not specifically what you are looking for, but Nalgene makes narrow-mouth bottles too. Nice for casual sipping, as their neck is about the width of your standard 20oz bottle.

Uhh.. just a shot in the dark, but have you checked http://www.nalgene-outdoor.com/store/ ? I believe the threads & seals will match up nicely to another manufac. sip cap / hose, if Nalgene doesn't make them themselves.

The Nalgene Sport Tops are GREAT! I wouldnt go with a narrow mouth to alleve this problem, as most filters cant scrwe onto them... The sport top is the way to go, to be able to drink from a nalgene while hiking, or anything else. Without it, you get more water on you then in you! I got mine at REI, which was already suggested a number of times, but they do carry them, so check it out!

I think the ones with the skinnier mouths aren't as good because they are harder to get clean.

REI, but don't you consider the tops cheating? Come on, is it really as much fun using a Nalgene if you don't have to dribble all over yourself?

I bought a Nalgene water bottle with the pop-up style squirter and clear cover. I guess it is a sport bottle. The cover looks like it will break off when you look at it wrong, but it is incredibly tough. It has been one of the best things I have ever bought. I keep it next to my bed and refill it about every other night. I take it in the car with me on trips and up whatever trail I go. I bought it to use it with a water filter, but it doesn't work well for that. Oh, well.
