prety much right on. The darkness in the subject looks good, you can still see his face. The shutter speed was perfect .. capturing the movement of the chalk while still maintaining a sharp focus on the hand/rock (no motion blur) I don't see anything that this photograph could have done better.

Too me the rock is more in focus than the hand, which IMo should have been the focus of the focus if you know what I mean. Notice how you can see the grains in the rock, but the fingers have a bit of a blur. Just a hair away from getting it right, but none-the-less it is a good climbing action shot.

Nice shot! Suggestions: 1.) pull the frame down and left slightly. you chopped off the top of the climbers head, which is distracting. 2.) As was said, brighten the climbers face a little. good pic overall though.
