In a Petzl catalogue that I received with a recent gear order there is a picture of a guy climbing an overhanging route with a city in the background and I am interested in where that climb is I am guessing Vancouver B.C.

Given the architectural style of the buildings in the background, I'd say definitely Europe. Also, the photographer credited for the shot is Phillipe Poulet who is based out of France. My guess is Spain or the South of France. Definitely not the Van city.

It is Petzl. Petzl is French and they are at least as pround as those of us in North America. They may come over here for some ice climbing, but they will stay local for rocks, at least in their pictures.
