Beer...I know some of this you already know but, here goes:
1. Go to the routes dbase and find the area/section.If the area/section is not there, add it.
2.Within the area/section box, click on the 'add a related photo'. It will then go to the photo submission page with the area/section links automatically there.
3.Enter the title of the picture.
4.Enter the detailed description of who/when etc.
5.Enter type-usually medium(make sure it is within the size limitations)very few pictures get approved under high because they take up so much space.
6.Put it in a category.
7.Enter which of your albums you want the picture in-this is optional.
8.Check the boxes for vote/comment option.
9.Click browse. It should then go to your computer files and if you know where your pictures are(mine are under 'My Documents/My Pictures)double left click on the picture and it will show up in the box to the left of 'browse' on the rc.com screen.
10. Scroll to the bottom and click on 'save photo'. The rest is up to us. Check your submitted photos every day in case we had to give you instructions on fixing something.

There is a browse button next to the "file (photo)" box.

Ahhhh, the evolution of the Net.
BeerAndBlood, I had the same problem. I was using Netscape Navigator 4.[something], and never saw the BROWSE button either.
So, I used MS IExplorer 5.0 and everything worked fine. Apparently the photo submit webpage uses "advanced" coding that the older browsers don't process properly.
You might try updating your browser.
