I just got 5.10-ish (Im four-foot eleven! Give me a break! :D ) Also, I am about two moves away from my first V2 in the gym! Otherwise, I love to send a V1b, and find my lofty home in the 5.9 area. However, the only marked routes ive climbed are in the gym. I do some bouldering/free sends near my house (about 25', think: Vb+). All I know is, I wont stop until I hit 5.15! 8) :D

I mainly boulder. Haven't done sport in months. Done one V7 but I don't think it's V7, one V6, couple V5's, quite a few V4's (flash of Cuts Like a Knife V4 HP40). Sport Flash - 10b Redpoint - 11a I think I could do some hard 11s, maybe a 12 if it were perfectly suited to me.

In reply to: Jeebus. Can't you be asking the important questions, like how to attach your chalk bag to your harness? We already know the answer to that question is the best way is to clip it to your harness with 2 full strength biners.

just got back from my trip to Europe... did Dreamtime in a few days, definately deserves the V15 rating IMO... i also tried that thing on the back of that boulder, The Dagger... the sit start definately goes at V15, i think i got the FA, but the stand start is only V13 i think. Viva la Evolucion is pretty hard, but i think Dreamtime was harder... and Emotional Landscapes is sick! i did that thing in spain... Chilam Balam or something like that... Fernandez is out of his fking mind... that thing is only 8b+/9a at most. And Orujo or whatever is like 8b. someone should slap that chuffer. Realization was a lot harder than Action Directe, which Intermezzo and Vakuumgiest felt like, so i think those last 2 are probably about 8b+/9a. New Base Line is like V13/14, but that could jsut be because it fits my body type. that was pretty much all i had time for. i wanted to get on a lot of other stuff (like some English stuff like Walk Away sit start and some other Euro problems - Radja, Power of Goodbye, Wrestling with an Alligator, Zerberus, Trip Hop, La Rambla, ect...) but u know how it is... next trip i guess. anyway now i am visiting my family in Kansas, but in a little bit i will be leaving for a little tour of South America... there is a lot of relatively undeveloped rock out there; i plan on getting a guide and some supplies and just searching around for some great rock i have heard about.

If I'm going to look like a gumby I'm at least going to let everyone know I'm a gumby with lots of cash.

no lies the hardest i have ever climbed was a 5.12a and i think it was over rated, seeing as how thats the only one i have ever done and i really have never done anything harder than an 11b prior to that.....but in all honesty the most fun i have ever had to this day is always my first route at the local crag....5.7......super stretchy, super juggy, super fun!!!!!! thats what i climb

In reply to: Hey Allen, I climbing up your Mom at the moment, what's she rated? PM sent. This type of crap, especially on a 16 month old post, is a quick way to earn some time off.

Yes, well, old Allen came after me on a different thread, so I though I would return the favor on what is easily one of the more mundane posts you'll find on RC.com
