When i try to delete an existing area I get this message "Sorry. You don't have permission. No records changed." So I was wondering how do you delete an area?

Delete? Where're you finding the link to delete an area? There are a bunch of empty areas in my province that I want to delete but there isn't any link to delete.

only an admin can delete an area, but somehow area managers also get the option to delete it, but it doesnt work. IMHO it would be usefull, also for route deleting (everybody makes mistakes and its not difficult to add a route that doesnt exist. but ont the other hand, when you want to add a new one, you can just move and then rename the old one...).

How about deleting regions? Could some admin take a look at British Columbia, Canada? I made a bunch of changes to consolidate areas into more sensible regions (there used to be like 20 regions, some with only 2 or 3 areas each), and are now left with 13 or so regions that are empty, which I've marked with "n/a".

I am a area manager for Montana, And one of the other members was updating and adding a new area, when his daughter accidently added it twice. I know its no big deal and all but I was just trying to tidy up the montana info, and organize all of the other info.

like i said before, when youre adding a new area, simply rename the old one  thats waht i did when i accidentally added one area twice. area managers should be able to delete anything in their area, simply to fix such mistakes.

Only the MGR of the State/Country/Province can delete anything within it.

In reply to: can we delete a whole country? Good plan! I'm all in favor of deleting France and any other French speaking country, for that matter. I took 2 1/2 years of that stupid language and hated every bit of it. And in high school, we had foreign exchange students for a semister. After meeting my female French peers, let me just just say one thing to the girls of France - Quit skimping with you shave!
