Hey guys! I am planninga trip to Rocktown Monday, but Simon and I are craving sopmewhere to sport climb.. any suggestions? we wana go somewhere new with sport climbing around 5.9-5.11... thanks!

I dont know about 5.9 or even 5.10 but if 11's, 12's and 13's are what your looking for T-wall has a few and its down that way. other than that I cant think of anything close to rocktown that has sport climbing.

I think there are like 2 sport climbs at the lost wall in La Fayette. Other than that its mostly trad down there.

I climbed at Sunset a few months ago, and I liked that place... I'll be back there in a month or so, as I'll be flying back to a job in SC in mid January.
I did only Trad that day, but it looks like it is well developed with plenty of sport routes in your range. Nice crag.

Devils race track is North of K-town but Its no where close to rocktown. Its in my backyard. They have a few good sport routes.

Just so you know ....Sunset is a big negative for sport routes.
How about Rock Town on Dec 26? Anybody going to be there?Stopping on my way to a few days in Chatt town.

I just got back from the OBed, and we were the only people there!! we went to Lilly Bluff and Boulders, and there wasnt anyone! We even drove to Dels to get his dogs and no one was camping there.. and there were no cars at South Clear parkinglot.. crazy..
