There are a few bolted lines in Tallulah Gorge, but they're pretty stiff routes. Ditto for Lost Wall.

The sandstone of Georgia is very featured with cracks and fissures. Thanks to the old-school ethics of the climbers that developed these areas, most of the areas are traditional climbs.

Lotsa sport climbing in Atlanta... Atlanta Rocks (two locations), Escalade (north of Atlanta), Wall Crawlers (south of Little Five). I think there is a gym at Emory U and GaTech too.

:D

Curahee is nice. Small, but quality slab climbing. Bring your lead head. As with most slab areas, ther's some runout to deal with. Worth a trip if you're in the area.
Park at the first radio tower/parking area, find a trail around the side of it and follw to the cliff.
The last bit of the hill on the drive up is pretty steep. Makes you appreciate the suckfest undertaken by the 101st Airborne guys who ran up it daily while training for WWII.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, it's easy to set up TRs there. The trail takes you to the top of the cliff, right above a route called ' All I wanted Was a Pepsi(5.6)' on the Slab wall.

Curahee has mostly mixed routes 10+ on the slab wall. The brick wall has four(i think) bolted routes, a 10b, an 11, and a few 12's. Other then that it's mostly trad out there. Lost wall also has a few sport and mixed, as another mentioned. Good luck.
