hi all,
im off to thailand late feb to end of march, going by myself but am definately looking to climb. anyone going around this time? looking for people to hang out with as well! also, not sure if i should take gear or not, am off to london aferwards, so might just send it on before me... any suggestions? :wink: bec

Thailand- If you want to rent gear (rope, harness, ect.) you can. But I would not do that, there didn't seem to be any kind of regulation, and some of the rental shops look a bit shady. I'd bring at least shoes, harness and chalk bag, you most likely can kind find a partner with a rope and draws. Good luck!
P.S. Have you thought about southern China? The limestone is equally impressive, and the local climbers are much more responsible.

i'll be in thailand from this friday through march 31, 2004. i've got draws and rope, so all i need is a partner...i'm headed to ton sai beach this weekend and will probably be around krabi for at least a few weeks. drop me a line if you want to climb...
