Hi everyone, I'll be in Hawaii (back and forth between Oahu and Kauai) from Jan. 20-Mar. 1. I've recently turned my climbing interests from the gym to the wonderful world of the outdoors, and would like to know if anyone out there needs a climbing partner while I'm in the islands. I've done one sport climb, but other than that all toproping up to 5.8 with the desire to improve (and do more sport climbs). If anyone is interested, please let me know. Thanks!

Aloha
I'm in rehab from a knee rebuild so I'm limited to only a couple of O'ahu's climbing areas (easier approaches). I intend to add some top-roping into my rehab program starting 1 Feb or so... but I need someone to carry the pack :roll:
I have mega-gear and weekends off. I'm pretty sure I can hook you up with a good partner for the bigger/harder stuff at Mokuleia as well, but I'm not hiking up there yet.

Heading out the door right now to Mokuleia. Get ahold of me if you want to climb.
Weather right now is a bit cloudy, SW winds 25 knots plus and around 80 degrees.

me and 2 friends are coming to hawaii for a few days in about 2-3 weeks - anybody have any good info on sport climbing/bouldering sites? places to stay while we're there? we'll be on oahu mostly - thanks! :D

A friend and I have been frequenting Mokuleia on the weekends. We could certainly take along another person or two. Send me a private message if you're interested. It would be nice, but not required that you could bring another rope.
