Remember Phil, this is exactly what I suggested in the M+E a coupler weeks ago, and then disolve the Regional all together.
This would require a bit of coding to have threads made from the Areas in the RDB link to the correct Forum.
For some reason Trevor didn't like this idea, but everyone else did.
Maybe we need to revisit this, and get Trevor to agree.

Yep Adam we did indeed talk about this. What I was doing here is to get Thomas to elaborate so others wouldn`t be guessing. English is his second language.
Thomas when you place a post like this try to be as descriptive as possible. I know the code guys get frustrated at times with us with our laymans language. Provide urls wherever possible to refer to.
So yes Adam we do indeed need to lobby Trevor for a revisit.
Thomas what would your ideal fix for these forums be. Be brave and visionary. What would work best now that we are definitely a worldwide climbing site.

If we dropped the "PARTNERS" forum and renamed "REGONAL DISCUSSIONS" as "REGONS & PARTNERS" it wouldn't take to much additional code would it?

Yes, in fact, the partners forum is a forum to look for partners, and is used for that.
The regional discussions forum is to discuss about areas.
But sometimes, betas on Europe are asked in the partners forums where there is an international forum as there is no international forum in the Regional Discussions forums.
So maybe a "Europe" forum and a "Australia" forum should be added both in the Regional Discussions group and in the Partners group.
What do you all think of this idea?
