Ben Lomond Climbing Center will be offering an aid climbing class Thurs., Feb 12 @ 7 pm. This class will cover the basics of aid climbing including some of the specialized equipment like aiders, fifi hooks, cam and other hooks, rivets, etc. We will also have a few bolt ladders set up to practice on. The aid climbing class was a blast. I wish more people would have come. Are climbers just not interested in aid climbing (although poor attendence could be attributed to things like bad advertising, short notice, whatever)? Do you think climbers at large have a desire to learn to aid?

personally, i hadnt heard of the class until just now. however, there's no way that i could have been in utah on a thursday, and i've got a pretty cool set of climbing buddies who are supporting my lust for aid.
