I'd personally have changed the contrast so the rock is completely black. As it is, I'm getting little faint glimpses of non-black, and it's distracting. I'd probably also crop out that tiny hint of ground at the bottom. I'll go vote on it now. ;) Maybe a good idea for all us critiquers would be to link the pic to the page it's on, so we can go rate the pics people post...?

Even better could someone post the code to make the pic as a link. Make it a sticky at the top of the forum.

the code is just the image tag inside the link tag. Can't get it to show as just plain code here, or I'd show it. Want me to write up a step-by-step linking thing for a sticky? Sorry to hijack this thread. ;)

Since you ask... and don't pop a vein over this or anything... The little snippet of rock/mountain/etc. at the very bottom is distracting. That said, half-n-half silhouettes are boring. I've shot them myself and they're... boring. I just don't get into them (proof: http://www.rockclimbing.com/photos.php?Action=Show&PhotoID=20669) Also, if the climber isn't in a very distinct "climber" position it's confusing- what is this person doing with the ropes?

Yeah I wrote it up in a seperate thread so anybody can understand it. Now if we want that stickied, Krillen will have to get it. Edit: My bad, it's already been done. Good job. :)
