They do include a $2.00 Handling Charge. UPS Ground for 3 hooks was $5.00. coylec

Are the Metolius hooks and pin any good? I'd definitely want to get some hooks if anyone can give me a positive review of them.

In reply to: Are the Metolius hooks and pin any good? I'd definitely want to get some hooks if anyone can give me a positive review of them. My opinion of them (the hooks) is that they're alright, but the slings are too long on them than need be. I believe the BDs are much better, I have a medium and a large in Metolius hooks, and I'd place a Talon over the medium Metolius in almost every situation, and a cliffhanger over the large Metolius... The Metolius hooks are very narrow and long, so they're not as stable, IMO. Due to their shallow trough they aren't that great for making them pointed, either. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the information. They're probably not worth it then even if the hooks are on sale. I'll just stick with BD since that seems to be the standard (and for good reason.)

That is just one gumby's opinion... you should wait til the artists of aid chime in, they might have a different, more valuable opinion than mine
