Vickery Creek is the creek that connects from the Chattahoochee River to an old mansion named Allenbrook in Roswell, GA. Here is a link to check it out.http://www.rockclimbing.com/...stArea.php?AreaID=80 I was there Sunday in the rain and decided to pass. The mud and water made everything slippery. I'm going back soon, because it looks decent for the length of my drive.

I haven't been there since the mid 90s and the tree roots were nearly a foot above ground level then.

what you see in the pictures is all that is there... it's small, dirty and sort of contrived. a lot of annoying people hang out there and i'm more of a trad climber (and i cna't do some of the few routes, dammit)

HOLY FUCKING SHITTTTT!!!! THAT PLACE IS HOTTER THAN AVRIL LAVIGNE FUCKING THE SHIT OUT OF PARIS HILTON WHILE SITTING ON MY LARGE MAN COCK. Honestly, i've traveled all over the US and even lived in the valley for a while because rent is cheap there...especially if you shag the ranger (give my compliments to Bob if anyones out there...and ask how his hemroid problem is now). Well, vickery creek blows away the Grand wall in Squamish and grand wall at the Valley if you put them together. It's the best crag in the world...Its totally worth the drive from florida...shit man, I live 30 minutes from Eldo...and I drive to vickery whenever i can get enough time of work...actually I'm thinking about quitting my job, buying a van and moving next to the big wall at vickery. Wow, my life would be sweet then. Peace out. Remember to vote...for either the yankee air pirate or the hypocritical antiwar hippie that still machinegunned wounded soldiers that were trying to crawl away

hell, i'm even thinking about moving there and becoming a sport rappeller. vickery is almost as pretty as sandrock...but i don't understand why they dont use nails instead of bolts...bolts cost almost as much as a can of schlits...just hammer tham bastards in and put some twine on it...yeeee haw for sport rappelling...its Xtreme to the max!!!!

heard a story while back bout a kid (teenage i guess) who wanted to aussie rappel off the the top of that cliff... however he didn't have a harness, so he clipped the rope onto a belt loop in his jeans. he leaned over .... and as you probably guess he immediatly fell and decked. anyone know if this a true story? or whatever happened to the kid?

There was a death there about a year and a half ago also. It was called a climbing death, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a "sport rappeler". It's popular for that too.
