Who's the bigger gumby...the gym climber who sprays about which gym is better...or the self-proclaimed trad-only snob who's too cool to climb indoors? Get over yourself chick, there's way better climbers than you in both gyms every night.

Get over yourself chick, there's way better climbers than you in both gyms every night.   No sheeit sherlock and no argument from me...there's for sure better climbers than me in Rockcreation West LA and probably every decent crag on this planet!! I've never sprayed that I'm better than gym people, I just choose not to climb in one and prefer the outdoors. Not cause I'm cool and they're not, I just don't like the plastic holds and indoor atmosphere. Mmmmkay? And since when have I proclaimed myself to be a trad only snob??? Please, tell me. Geez. 8) Now if you called me an AID only snob, I'd take that as a compliment

In reply to: Okay, so.... Finally made it to BCR tonight and here are my observations: 1. itakealot is cool as hell, and as far as I can tell a great guy I will not allow the dubious statement above to cast doubts about your assessment of the L.A. Rock Gym, and so I ask, how tall is the gym? -Jay

lol! Jay: Not sure I can really say how tall exactly it is given that EVERYTHING looks really tall to me, and my sense of height isn't too good. My guess would be 25 feet? Am I wrong? Someone here should know the answer. :) Cali

 one side of the gym has 30 ft. walls, and the other side has 24 ft. walls.

No thanks necessary...I appreciated your genuine hospitality!! Again, something that I have learned to appreciate about the climbing community! Sorry I couldn't make it last night, but as I mentioned in my PM, this has been a CRAZY (but great!) week! Let's definitely get there next week! Thanks again! :) Cali

i've been going to the la rock gym for quite awhile. It's a good gym. The people are laid back as is the atmosphere. I've gone to the costa mesa rockcreation but didn't like it as much.
