I've climbed in mine (1 1/2 sizes down) for about 6 months and the toes are still really snug - not like new, though. The rest of the shoe seemed to be pretty well broken in after climbing a few times a week for about a month.

yuo know what. I work at sporting goods store and wel sell the velcros and to tell you the truth its either thry fit really well or they are hell to wear. If you have large toes and yuo foot make be a little wider then that may not be the right shoe for you. I just bought some of the anasazi's southwests and i took them to j Tree this last weekend and they fit so well. I went with a half size smaller but they fit so great and they are a crazy good shoe. If yuo have any questions with any of the other five ten shoes you can e mail me. I work with them all day long so i could prob tell you what you need to know. surfallthetime@hotmail.com

I've had my anasazi velcros since the beginning of feb., and they're already really worn in. They stretched out a little for me, and have already nearly worn a hole on the toe! I also climb A LOT, so, that probably is a contributing factor...in your case, it probably just depends on how often you climb.

It's the large button on the bottom right of the message composition page. Other than that....Anasazi velcros are the best shoe I have ever worn...and I'm a shoe ho. My wife calls me Imelda.
